"Breakline" is the seventh episode of The Shannara Chronicles.
Plot[]
Amberle and Eretria run from bloodthirsty Elf Hunters who relish in cutting off the ears of Elves for fun, while Wil searches for them with the help of an unexpected friend.
Summary[]
Wil encounters Perk, a Wing Rider, and both have to face off against Elf Hunters, who want to cut off their ears and sell them. Eretria and Amberle literally fall into what appears to be the remnants of a school dance. As they try to find a way out, the pair discuss their past and their shared feelings for Wil.
Arion and Ander Elessedil are sent by their father Eventine to kill the Dagda Mor, and both sons are still unaware that the king is in fact the Changeling in disguise. As the princes come to blows with the Dagda Mor, Arion is killed during the battle.
Despite being run through by Arion with the Warlock Sword, Allanon is not dead and heals himself with the Druid sleep. In the process he has a vision of his mentor Bremen, who tells him that it is not time for him to die, and that another potential Druid has emerged who might be able stand with Allanon.
Allanon arrives too late at the Breakline to save Arion, but he does save Ander from the same fate as his brother. Ander returns to Arborlon, where he kills the Changeling and realizes he has now become King of the Elves.
